Stoner Fastest, Rossi Complaining

Moto GPValentino Rossi failed to record the fastest time in free practice session of the Indianapolis-MotoGP, Friday, August 27, 2010. This Yamaha- Fiat-rider is just sitting at number five with a record time of 1 minute 41.623 seconds.

The fastest rider is Casey Stoner from Ducati with 1 minute 40.884 seconds. Jorge Lorenzo, Nicky Hayden, and Dani Pedrosa in the position- row of two to four.

Upon this result, Rossi looks less satisfied with the performance of his motorbike. Though, Rossi down to the Indianapolis circuit with the better physical condition after the accident in Italy.

“It still feels a little sore but never mind,” Rossi said as quoted by the official MotoGP site.

“But we need to fix the motorbike in order to enhance the setting pace. We are less grip here (Indianapolis). It’s not that easy to track because many aftershocks,” he added.

The Doctor -Rossi’s nickname- must improve his performance if he wants to retain the title. Because up to the serie 10, Rossi is still stumbling in the five standing ratings.

With only 101 total points, still far behind compared to Lorenzo that leading with 235 points. The magnitude range of this figure is not separated from Rossi’s absence due to injury after falling on Mugello Circuit, Italy.

“Our target tomorrow morning (the second practice session and Qualification) is closing this distance. So that we could be in better condition to get a position on the grid,” Rossi said again.
